The great Roman scholar Cicero famously said this: “Nothing is more noble, nothing more venerable, than loyalty.” As a family business we have always valued loyalty. In fact, according to observers of Italian culture (for Italy is where forebears are from), as a race we are known for our friendliness, hospitality, generosity, good humour and our loyalty, especially to our families. All attributes that we are proud to walk the walk of.
Join the Club and our Membership
We also saw, first hand, how our grandparents, and then our parents, put loyalty at the centre of the business as it grew. They looked after customers. Not just when they came in, but outside of their visits, too. Customers were loyal to us and so we extended that courtesy right back. No big discussions about corporate values, this was entirely organic; it was just the way, as a family, we believed things should be.
It has been a philosophy that has served us well. And continues to do so. Our Loyalty Card Members are our friends. Extended family, if you will. And as well as valuing loyalty, we like to reward it too.
Special promotions, Christmas gifts and free refreshments are just the top of the iceberg. We take pride in knowing people by name when they come into one of our venues, and we always enjoy a chat and a catch-up with them. Simply, we build relationships with our members.
And if someone needs a hand with something we can help with, well, why wouldn’t we? Because while we’re a commercial operation, doesn’t helping each other out where we can make the world a much nicer place?
Achieving membership at Cassino is pretty organic, too. If you come in twice, on your second visit you’ll almost certainly be approached by one of our team members. You’ll be invited to join the membership scheme (which also gives you upto £450.00 worth of free plays a year) and introduced to the rest of the team.
Talking of the team, they’re a loyal bunch, too. Most of them have been with us for many years and we like to think that is because they feel valued and looked after by us. We celebrate their birthdays and anniversaries – we even invite our members to join in – and we support them through tough times.
You see? A little loyalty goes a long way, doesn’t it? More importantly, it’s a two way street, which feels right and equal.
